Headbanger776 They did shut down the government. The House had a deal, the Senate and Obama didn't pass one and blamed it on the right. So yes, the left did shut down the government.

Headbanger776 Republicans came up with a plan, democrats didn't. It is that simple

9753flyer Republicans had a plan as well. Obama was a poor leader. Instead of pulling both sides together he hid behind the senate. The democrats didn't want to compromise. Also, who won the election next time around? It seems like the American people blamed the democrats.

9753flyer Republicans won, seem like the people had their voice and claimed that the democrats fail. It will be shown again next election as well. I will usually argue this point but I am busy working, so I will just remind you who won last election and tell you who will win the next. And remember, excuses are like assholes, everyone has them and they all stink.

Kyle is not a centrist, he is a socialist. I am a moderate, Kyle is a radical. Wanting a min. wage of $15/hr is not a centrist, especially when Kyle has said that other side doesn't have an argument on the issue.

The left is radical. They have what is called feel good policies. They are policies that have little to no evidence that they will actually work, and when broken down they are shown to fail. What ends up happening is that the left gets emotional and when emotion gets high logic falls. Take the min. wage for example. Bernie Sanders got into debate about it and when numbers were brought up Sanders just went emotional to hide the facts that raising it simply won't work. If you didn't support equal pay for equal work then you hate women, according to liberals. If you don't support gun laws did you want more violence, even though not a single law suggested would have prevented any of those shootings. The left is radical, they run on emotions. Remember that Obama won on "hope and change". The ACA won on the premise that without it people will die on the streets or that "if you get sick, die quickly". That is a radical stance. Ignore anything rational and run with emotions.
