  23. Democrats been losing badly the past few elections, they have zero leverage. When Bush lost Congress in 2006 he knew he had to go with them as that is what the people wanted at the time. Now the people want republicans and their policies. If it works then fine, win by sneaking in the backdoor during a strong economy. If not then the democrats have something to run off of. Right now the democrats need to wait it out.
