Do you think government is the sole source for these programs? That is why you are making it sound like. And why isn't free market the answer? Start by explaining that.

Everyone does things for a profit. In your case you want the government on your side to benefit you so you have a higher profit. There is nothing wrong with a profit motive. It becomes a problem when the federal government stirs the pot.

People need a lot of things beyond school and healthcare. Also, you complain about how government is in bed with private industry. Do you want that same government to now control your healthcare and education?

I feel there is a desire to have government. We just need to keep government as local as possible. Doing so will 1. see that we are getting our money's worth 2. ensure that government remains the servants and not the masters.

None of those individuals you list receive subsidizes. The main beneficiaries of government welfare are those in poverty.

Walmart pays competitive wages for retail. They don't pay a higher wage because they simply can't afford it. It isn't Walmart's fault that their workers refuse to get better. How do the Koch brothers receive subsidies?

Walmart simply can't afford higher wages, that's a fact. It doesn't matter that the workers are humans, you are not entitled to those things just because you are human. I will try to find that book.
