  1. PaleGhost69, the idea of giving Wyoming that many per electoral vote is that smaller states get represented. Wyoming is 49 in population density. CA is 11 and NY is 7th. Just people WY has a sparse population does not mean they should not have a strong voice as as state. The EC was to prevent a few states like CA and NY from running the country. You also have the issue of different cultures in different states. CA is extremely liberal in some areas where around 60% voted for Clinton. That skews the overall vote to here but even if 100% voted Clinton she still receives only 55 EC votes. Just because one large state is skewed to one side or another it should limit how much power they have. How would you feel if 100% of Texas voted for Republican? I bet you will be cheering for the EC then.

  2. The idea of the EC was this, the federal government is made up of the states and is there to serve the states, not the people. The states serve the people. Prior to 1913 the federal tax was a tax on the states based on population, not individuals. The EC places limits on the power states have in presidential election so that one state does not over power the country. Even if 100% of voters vote blue in CA or red in TX during presidential election that candidate will get the same EC votes as if they received 51% of the votes.

  4. There is no evidence that the 2000 election was fixed, same with the 2016. Again, Kyle is at Alex Jones' live of conspiracy.
