  10.  @genericscout5408  , corporations would have made the Hoover Dam just like Exxon Mobil invested in wind farms. As for NASA that is a role for the federal government. There is a role for the federal government, but the issue is that maybe it is too large. Do we really need and the government agencies and workers we have? You point to NASA, but what about other programs? The private sector does a great job in investing in healthcare innovation. I never said 0 government jobs, I am suggesting we have too many at the federal level.

  14. I don't see this as bad. The political left says that charities and local communities won't work in helping people out and thus we need more government. However, as we are seeing the community and local societies are helping. In my city the power company gave people to option to not pay their energy bill until the government re-opens. The local communities are helping. Kind of shows you how little we need government.
