  6. What you are talking about is foreign trade. On domestic issues healthcare should be managed at the state level. Government involvement is not bad as long as it doesn't cause inefficiencies. Right now the federal government does when it comes to healthcare.

With that we should improve on what we have. The reasons why are 1. If you go to universal healthcare you will be replacing a system with problems with another system with just as many problems 2. You will be radically changing the economy leading to an economic decline 3. You will have to change how society functions all together "It's unethical to let people die simply cuz they can't afford basic healthcare." People die for several reasons and people die in other countries due to inferior care.
