  1. More conservative does not mean more religious. They can be more conservative economically or on family values. There are many conservatives who are not religious.

  2. ShinyBaboon, the problem is that the anti-white anti-male pro-islam crowd is taking over the political left now and are becoming the loudest voices in the group. On top of that they continue to call the political left a bunch of sexist, racists, and homophobes. A prime example is TYT. Or during the women's march some were asked what rights Trump and the republicans were going to take away from women. They cannot name one. On top of that liberals are not calling those individuals out and telling them to stop. Many on the right agree with liberal positions to a degree. And many of generation Z will as well. But right now the political left is extreme and it is scaring away many people just entering politics or moderates.

They grew up during the push for high self esteem and shows like Barney where you are told you are always special and you will never be hurt in life. Years later they become the snowflake generation with safe spaces and hate the idea that they have to work for what they need. Generation Z just saw a poor economy and grew up on the idea of being frugal the past 8 years and that you are not entitled to anything. That is why they are more conservative.

Websites like Facebook are very liberal. If what you said is true than they would be more liberal than conservative.
