  1. There is an argument to be made that felons should be allowed to vote, but should all felons? That is a solid argument. This is not a smear question. When you break a law you run through due process and lose some rights, such as the right to bear arms for felons.

  3. If Bernie is pushing an idea he needs to be prepared for the criticisms of it. That means being ready for counter arguments and questions. It shows he did not think about this issue.

  4. It isn't a bad question. Is there an argument to be made that felons should be allowed to vote? Yes. But should some felons not be allowed? That is an argument that can be made as well. Bernie is making a broad approach here in saying all felons should be allowed to vote with no exceptions.

The fact that he can't shows he put zero thought into it. There are arguments to be made for and against Bernie's point. Bernie fans are so blind that they can't admit when Bernie is not prepared.
