  5. Austin King, just because we have not had a recession does not mean our economy is strong. Ethiopia, for example, has not faced a recession in around 14 years. The fact is that we are still behind as we have not had that spike in growth to catch us up. If we do have a recession but a major spike shortly afterwards than we are fine. What Obama did was hit the brakes to stop the recession, but that's it. We have not gone anywhere since.
