Republicans were called racists for opposing Obama. What Rush said had a lot of truth to it.

Jon, what makes you say that? If any party is racist it is the democratic party for their soft bigotry of low expectations. They feel that black people are too dumb and lazy to get an ID to vote.
1
Duron, you apparently don't remember the media when Obama was elected. The right was called racist a lot.

1. It isn't hard to get days off work. 2. $24 is nothing But again, people feel that voter ID laws are racist.

The vast majority seem to be getting IDs just fine.

Under Obama we never had a year of 3% GDP growth. I believe the last president to have that bad of economic growth was Hoover. We don't have a growing economy. We are still behind economically. Most kids between the ages entering college and just entering the work force (17 to early 20s) weren't old enough prior to 2007 to remember what a strong economy looked like.

There was a lot of truth to that though. McNabb was not a good QB. He had a great defense on the team he played for and a solid O-line. But people still gave him a lot of attention.

Chris, Reagan is not to blame for keeping wages low. If anything it is the payroll tax that was expanded in the mid 60s. And when broken down there is not one single good reason to even have a min. wage.
1
Chris, there are a lot of reasons for the wage gap. One was increase in immigration. Another was more women entering the work force. Both earn less than men for several reasons. Another is the payroll tax which means that if a business were to pay a higher wage they would have to pay a higher tax. To counter for that they paid in benefits. But, in all, the payroll tax kept businesses from giving out higher wages. I study statistics and analyze them for a living. It is one thing to look at them, but it is true intelligence to properly analyze them.

Chris, their was a divide starting in the early 70s between productivity and wages. So yes, we did see that divide basically after the increase of the payroll tax in the mid 60s . But again, we saw more immigrants starting in the 70s and more women entering the work force, both which earn a low wage. Also, you have to consider that inflation is a flawed measurement in many ways. Look at cars for example. The cars we have compared to the 80s are much safer, last longer, get better mileage and are all around better. People have smart phones, computers, high speed internet and so on. There is a lot more to the economy than what you are presenting. And constantly blaming Reagan is not an argument. We saw strong economic growth during his presidency.

We don't have a growing economy. Under Obama we never had a year of 3% GDP growth. First president since Hoover to do that.

Kyle will deny that.

Republicans voted against Obamacare and were called racists. Rush had a point here.
