The Judge, if you "fact check" those on the left you can find information that will disagree with them. I can easily do it with Kyle.
2
Patjack, when did Ann agree to debate Kyle? Show me proof.
2
Seder told people to "google it", that is not an argument.
2
Sam did terrible. He said "google it" a lot. That is a sign of ignorance.
2
Because those are works of fiction.
1
@Adrian Nelson , I am a scientists. You don't have to believe me. You feel that Kyle is on the same level as Ann Coulter. Shows you intelligent level.
1
I am busy, I manage my time well.
1
jojo, what has Kyle accomplished in his life? Coulter has a law degree, practice law, worked for the senate, wrote multiple best selling books, has been on many big shows such as Bill Maher. Now what has Kyle done? I write many comments here with an opposing viewpoint, why won't Kyle debate me? Answer that.
1
DOC 12, care to explain?
1
jojo, I don't have any way to contact Kyle. But if I did I doubt he would accept as I am just some random guy out there. Point is that to Coulter Kyle is some random guy as well.
1
I am not going to tell you what lab I work in as I don't want creeps on the internet harassing me.
1
jojo, it isn't dumb. What has Kyle accomplished? Someone like Michael Moore made top selling movies. He is a big name. What has Kyle accomplished? He gets around 30,000 views a video. That's nothing.
1
You should write books as it is a way to dig deep on the issues and it is something one can hold against you. It makes you more relevant.
1
Ben doesn't know who Kyle is.
1
Jeff, Shapiro debates a lot of people and gives out his email to people to converse with them. That is why he is so popular. I would love for Kyle to give out his email address to people so people can write him.
1
@Kiljaedenas , when?
1
Kyle's fans can't read, that is why he doesn't write books.
1
@Adrian Nelson, I don't see it funny. You should really learn how to read and read some books in your life.
1
The point of writing a book is that you have to dig deep on the issues and source your claims. It is also something physical that one can hold against you if needed. Kyle refusing to do that shows he is not serious on discussing politics and thus is inferior to those who are, like Coulter. It is the same as a PhD. To really earn one you should have published papers. It shows you actually produced something that required a lot of thought and that people can hold against you.
1
Patjack, getting a college degree is not difficult. Also, a political science degree is not worth much and not much to brag about. Who is going to sit down and watch his videos? A book puts his ideas in a coherent, and collective way. Also, it requires sources and deep thoughts. Videos are mostly talking points to attract an audience with a short attention span. Look at the difference between what Shapiro says in his videos compared to what he writes and what he says in a Q&A session.
1
Zidneya, so every single video and write down everything he says? Most of what he says he provides no citations. Most of what he says are not talking points and are not coherent. This is why he has no substance. Anyone can do that.
1
His citations are hardly in the description. A book does mean you have deep knowledge on the topic as you have to write it for others to understand, you have to cite sources, and it gets scrutinized by your peers.
1
Books means you have to present your work in a coherent way with sources. And it can be used against you so you have to be careful in what you write. I never said it was hard to make a youtube commentary video.
1
Show me proof she agreed to do a debate.
1
@blackearl7891 , care to explain why they are "worthless trash". How many have you read? And why do you feel they are worthless? What is your argument? And please, cite the books so I know you read it.
1
blackearl7891, Coulter is not an economist so I wouldn't suggest reading her books for that. She is a lawyer and in her Q&A session she was able to cite actual court cases off of the top of her head. It does bring up a good point. One issue we have is that too many people will look towards Ann or Kyle for information where they need to read material from actual experts. I have never read a book by Ann because I pretty much know what she is going to say. I rather read books by economists.
1
@deeznutsanyachin2027 , people are ripping on Ann but I bet most here have not read her books. If you have not read her books you cannot fairly criticize. I am not promoting Ann either, I am attacking Kyle.
1
@deeznutsanyachin2027 , Ann refused to debate a nobody. If I contacted Kyle asking to debate him and he refuses would you criticize him as well?
1
I just contacted Kyle through Twitter, we will see if he respond.
1
When did Ann agree to debating Kyle? Kyle keeps claiming she did but backed out. I need proof. I feel Kyle received an email that Politicon is trying to set up the debate, Kyle agreed, but Ann didn't. So now Kyle is making up a lie in order to gain more attention.
1
Flrs91, is someone comes to you and says they are trying to set up a debate between you and me and you disagreed, that is not backing out. You never made the suggestion to begin with. The idea was brought up by a 3rd party. Now if Ann brought up the idea and then changed her mind, then yes, she would be backing out. But that is now how it went.
1
I have heard a lot of what Kyle said and most of what he said is crap.
1
@zangetsu9196 , most things related to healthcare.
1
@zangetsu9196 , i need proof. He isn't providing it thus i feel he is lying.
1
Justice democrats are not winning. 600K subscribers is not much considering how long he has been running his show. Jimmy Dore is a failed comedian. No substance what so ever.
1
@blackearl7891 , there are many methods to measure inflation. You have CPI, PCE, Boskin Commission adjustment and so on. So to say "google it" shows that Seder does not know what he is talking about. Google what? How about he gives us a source.
1
@brianstaley6391 , Sam did not cite anything. He did not give us a hardcore source to look at.
1
blackearl7891, that's nice. Now read the following sources "Fifty Years of Growth in American Consumption, Income, and Wages" by prof. Bruce Sacerdote and "Did Wages Reflect Growth in Productivity?" by prof. Martin S. Feldstein. Also, you should look up work by Prof. Don Boudreaux on the issue of wage stagnation. Noticed how I gave you specific sources to look up?
1
Cap. Orange, he can tell us what sources to look up like I did with blackearl. Saying to just "google it" can lead to one finding sources that will agree and disagree with Seder. A reason why we have debates is so that people with opposing viewpoints can go deep on the issues so that people can learn. Saying "google it" is not doing that.
1
Cap. Orange, yes. They should have sources to point to if they are going to discuss these topics. When I give talks on my work I have sources off of the top of my head to point to. Listen to Ann's Q&A session, she pointed to court cases off of the top of her head. That is how experts act. Seder is not an expert, he has nothing but talking points. I never said PCE isn't bias, but it was argued by an economists out of the Minneapolis Fed that it should be used to measure inflation over the CPI. But now I hope you understand why you can't simply say "google it" and expect that to be the answer. These issues are far more complex than that.
1
@SanvelloSerapiega , SS is a government program where Government pays people. I discussed how the government uses CPI for political reasons. The reason why is because it gives the highest inflation rate and government uses as an excuses to increase wages and benefits to people. Imagine a politician saying they want to use PCE or Boskin Commission adjustment inflation instead. Imagine the attack ads that will come towards that politician. This is why the Federal Reserve is not elected. At times they have to make unpopular decisions in the short term for long term growth. Same with SC justices. You should be an expert or have read up on the issue enough to debate topics.
1
@SanvelloSerapiega , I never said the CPI was useless. The Fed uses it and also uses PCE. The point is that there are many methods in measuring inflation. The CPI is used the most because the government uses the most for political reasons. It ins't conspiracy, after the Boskin Commission pointed out how CPI overstated inflation by 2% the government refused to accept it. Also, Seder did not know what he was talking about. If he did then he would have sources there or off of the top of his head. He didn't as he only has talking points.
