I thought correlation didn't equal causation?  According to the CDC Indiana in 2008, before the closing of these 5 facilities, had an above average HIV rate to begin with.  According to the article even with the 5 facilities closed testing for HIV has increased anyway, so more people are still getting tested despite only 5 facilities being closed.  This is an extremely bias viewpoint on this situation and I don't see how the closing of these PP clinics are related to this "outbreak" (which has no numbers attached to it).

  2. ***** How so?  Here you have someone on the left pointing to a republican policy as the reason for the increase in HIV.  That despite testing still being up and there already being a high rate of HIV in Indiana.

  4. mrx00666 They have had it before then.  According to the CDC in 2008 they had an above average rate to begin with. Also testing was still higher than ever despite the 5 facilities closing.
