@jeremychase7416 , they are unreliable for several reasons. 1. They are vague questions on complex issues being asked to non experts. If the poll was worded differently support will change. 2. Polls, as prof. Andrew Gelman said, are a snapshot, not a trend. When more information is given opinions changej 3. Polls don't judge how strongly they feel about the issue. Say 60% supports M4A but only 20% vote for it, and the 40% who support it all vote against it as they have a much stronger opinion on it, then it won't pass.

No they don't. Polls are unreliable.
3
@jeremychase7416 , no. Just because you get the most at a rally doesn't mean you are the most popular.
3
@jeremychase7416 , when the data is flawed I don't trust it. A poll asking if one supports M4A on the surface may receive high support. Now say you add in the facts that taxes will go up, private insurance will be eliminated, and accessibility will go down. Guess what, support will drop.
3
@WhiteNoize01 , I agree with you. With the push for an AWB is to play with people's emotions to ban a gun that looks scary. When you allow for any gun to be banned then you open the legal doorway to allow all guns to be banned. When AWB happens and gun deaths still happen the far left now has legal paths to ban more guns.

@ladikermis7804 , How? One reason why we pay so much in the US is because we are offered so much. For example, the US has more MRIs and CT scans per capita. The US offers more access to advanced testing. Yes, we pay around 1/6 of our GDP in healthcare and other nations pay around 10%, but we offer more. If we were to drop costs with M4A we will by paying around 10% of GDP. At that point healthcare providers will offer less like they do in other nations. That is the reality. As for coverage outside of M4A, you guys always point to plastic surgery. The reality is that in other nations certain forms of heart and neurosurgery are considered "elective". Not just cosmetic surgery.
2
@WizardofGargalondese , huh? Taxes will go up.
2
@Soleilune1995 , no, I support a balance. There is a role for the federal government, that is dealing with foreign affairs and deal with commerce between states. Essentially, the federal government works for the states, not the people. The states and local governments work for the people. People who oppose state rights are essentially fascist in my opinion as the point you bring up. You feel other states lack freedom when in reality they have a government they want. You are on the outside looking in. They don't want the government you want just like you don't like the government they have.
2
@APsupportsTerrorism , there are solutions, you refuse to listen.
2
Well, when you have no job......
2
@ladikermis7804 , not to be rude but if you want to have an opinion on this issue you need to read up on it more.
1
@WizardofGargalondese , we do offer more.
1
@WizardofGargalondese , yes we do.
1
@KingJT80 , in the US we do pay more, but we also receive more. Also, how about young people who are healthy? You are going to ask them to pay more. So no, it won't be cheaper for many.
1
@Soleilune1995 , not true. This is a problem I have with people who support centralized government. You are on the outside of a state looking in and don't know how those people really feel. To you they may be giving up freedoms, but in reality that is what they want.

@TheBigShaun100 , "A starting quarterback, without injury is all of a sudden not good enough for any team to even be their backup or 2nd backup? That has never happened in NFL history. " That has happened often. Take Tim Couch for example. To be an NFL QB you have to be 1. Good enough to start, Kaepernick was not that 2. Young enough to be a project, he was over 30 3. A smart vet to be a backup and thus is a QB who talks strategy with the starter or lead a young, rebuilding team. Kaepernick does not have the personality. Fact is he is not QB material for the NFL.
1
@matthewtaylor3347 , well, that is the problem of the left, they are not honest. Be honest and say you want to raise taxes. I can at least respect that.
1
@jcjc7439 , how is private insurance a private tax?
1
@APsupportsTerrorism , the issue of medical bankruptcies has been challenged. Read the paper entitled "Myth and Measurement — The Case of Medical Bankruptcies"
1
@APsupportsTerrorism , if you have a problem with the paper then email the author and the editor of the journal.
1
@APsupportsTerrorism , listening for what? I can give you anything you want to counter far left's arguments.
1
@APsupportsTerrorism , I can offer solution if you want.
1
Kyle needs to stop pointing to polls, they are completely unreliable. All Kyle has going for him are polls, not actual reality .
1
@Bill Anderson , if this is how you spend your vacation you are a sad person.
1
@lilfreedom275 my parents live 1500 miles away from me.
1
@ninjalokust , I live every debate here.
1
@chaunceystewart9960 , and he also said that accessibility and quality will drop
1
Noticed how the cop was arrested?
1
Kyle hates America because he wants to radically wants to change the system without trying to understand it.
1
If you are talking about Kaepernick then yes, he was fired as he was not good enough. You know how many professional players come and go? He was not QB material for the NFL.
1
@APsupportsTerrorism , Kaepernick won a lot because he played with one of the top defenses in football. 5 pro bowlers on defense and 2 on the o line with a pro bowl running back. Kaepernick was never a top 15 QB.
1
Kaepernick was not pushing for a discussion to begin with. That was the problem.
1
, no, there was no discussion.
