@darkstar4494 the fact that is it mainly old and sick people should matter. Those are people with high chance of deaths to begin with. Right now, according to the CDC, more people have died from pneumonia as opposed to the virus. But no one is freaking out over that.

There are doctors and scientists who suggest the virus is not that dangerous and we should reopen. However, the media ignores them or even censors them. Also, the virus is not spreading that fast and there is now info suggesting a good amount of people are immune to begin with.

@ChrisPage68 a recent article in Science shows that you can build up long term immunity if you are infected. Also, researchers studied 68 people who never got the virus and had 34 percent of them with the T-cells to begin with from getting something as simple as the cold. This suggests that a good amount of people are immune overall.

The virus is being used as an excuse to oppress people and also try to defeat Trump. Governors like Cuomo and Newsom are willing to let their states fail and people die so they can blame Trump in hopes of beating him. It won't work, but it is sad.
