He has a point, you are poor for a reason.  While you are poor and making excuses someone else is working harder than you.  I will extend on what Ted said.  The poor won't vote republican because you can't fix stupid.  And just because you live paycheck to paycheck that doesn't mean you are poor. I love this fool's rant.  The min. wage keeps people out of work.  Around 60% of those in poverty don't have a job.  The average household income of those making $9.50/hr or less is over $47,000/yr.   His rant on athletes and entertainers is irrelevant.  They get paid that much because they are worth that much, who cares?  They donate a lot.  In professional sports the athletes donate money to the workers as in trainers and equipment staff.  They tip them at times thousands of dollars.  From my experience the ones who aren't poor help others.  They worked hard and separated themselves from the ignorant and lazy.  They are willing to help others that want to better themselves. The ones who are poor make excuses and refuse to  help others.  Ted is right, stupid is and stupid does.

  3. leegeorgeson I said the average household income.  That is because that low wage worker, the one making $9.50/hr or less, is a second earner and isn't the primary earner of the household.  When I was making $5.15/hr the household I lived earned around $60,000, my dad was bringing in $47,000 of that.  My sister and myself with our min. wage jobs were bringing in the rest.  So, let me elaborate again, they are not the primary earners of the household.  Please read more carefully next time.
