  1. 8bitpothead, Kyle is becoming more radical everyday. I feel the Trump victory has made him go insane. He clearly had no idea what he was talking about here where a simple Google search would have found that CA law and shown he possessed his guns illegally.

I agree, but he also built two of his hand guns and also obtained other illegally. So again, how do you make this zero? The only thing I agree on is getting a warrant. But what prevents people from hiding their guns? I want you to propose legislation to make this 4 to be 0. Until you can do that than the reality is that this is not a major problem.   7. The Harvard study was saying that more guns equal more gun deaths which is "no shit". More cars means more traffic accidents. More pools means more drownings. However, for over 20 years the number of guns in the US has been increasing and murders have been dropping. Guns are not the problem. We have areas of high gang activity and drug activity where other countries don't. If you graph number of guns in a state to murders you will not see a correlation. Many states have lots of gun but low murder rates. As for being diverse, we are. We have states that are larger than countries. If you look at murder rate by states we have many states with large populations but low murder rates like Minnesota or Oregon. Minnesota has a population over 5 million but a low murder rate. If you compared it to other countries it will be far below the average. Watch Stefan Molyneux's video "The Truth About Gun Control" that he published in 2015.

  10. Building a gun is easy as it is an archaic piece of technology, especially with 3D printers. You don't need gun parts, just the materials to make the parts and then the guns. The fact is that we have laws that Kyle wants. These things happen. It it tragic but the laws are already on the book.

Korea has a higher suicide rate with strict gun laws. People use pesticides. I am for helping the person as opposed to taking away their rights without due process. So we have around 10,000 now. Many of those are done in drug deals or gang activity. I am for alleviating the gang and drug problem as opposed to making new gun laws that only harm law abiding citizens. But what gun laws do you propose?

  13. C Business, I agree on private sales, now how do you stop it? None of my guns are registered. I can sell it to who ever I want. How do you stop that? The only way I can think of is creating a gun registry which is one major step away from gun confiscation. Even at that private sales is not the main way where these shooters are getting their guns. This man here made two of his guns.

  14. GxrRoflstomp, it isn't slippery slope. We are seeing this. Gun murders have been dropping for years. Guns are not a problem. The NRA supported laws such as fully autos being heavily regulated and background checks. 100 round drums were banned. And gun murders have been dropping. However, the left is pushing for even more laws. Banning 100 round drums is not enough. Now 30 round magazines are banned in some areas. Some states are pushing for even more and passed them as in NY. In the state of Washington they almost passed Senate Bill 5737 which would allow law enforcement to enter gun owners' homes. Now CA is pushing for a law that bans the transport of ammunition from one state to another. We have laws on the books but more are being created all while gun murders have been dropping. This is why gun owners feel the way they do.

  18. N B, Australia never had an issue with gun murders. Prior to the Australia gun ban gun murders were already dropping. You need to stop pointing to Australia as it is a bad example. As for Chicago, so you are saying criminals will go to areas where there is more likely to be less guns? What a shocker.

  19. Smitty, the problem is when people like Kyle are so misinformed or flat out lie on these issue it makes you feel they want a total gun ban. In this story this man was told to turn in his guns but he didn't. He was not allowed to have them legally. The laws on already on the books. Also, apparently he made two of his hand guns. People like Kyle are pushing for gun confiscation. They just don't want to admit it.

This man, surprise surprise, broke the law when they told him to turn in his guns and he refused. Kyle is either misinformed or is simply lying to push for a gun ban. I am all for having a discussion on gun laws, but with Kyle's approach he is simply pushing for a ban. He has no desire to learn about the issue.

  23. Aleza Seibert, we have gun laws as well. Nothing is ideal, but we have laws already. Everything Kyle is suggesting exists. AT this point you have one of two things 1. Gun confiscation 2. Leftists want token gun legislation to make them feel good while they sleep in their gated communities
