@MF-rw3rb You are right in that no matter what Trump does the media will attack him. While I do not know the full story, maybe a $2000 check bill is coming, but there is also the Georgia run off election coming and republicans have to look good. Trump did want a spending cut with an increase in checks, but politicians are playing games with us.

It is more of his supporters feel we need to reopen the economy because, bottom line, we should not be so dependent on the government nor trust them so much. We should calculate risks in life ourselves and make our own decisions. Not have government make decisions for us and then become baffled when they screw us over.

@kitty7184 I do not think masks work, but I will be open to requiring masks being worn. With social distancing, I do not agree with that, but there could be some ways. I feel we need to allow ball parks to be crowded and full, same with restaurants. Fact is that even with doing all these measures cases are going up. The virus is going to spread regardless. I agree we failed to give a stimulus but at that point we need to strongly consider the fact that the government is not going to serve us. Also, with that in mind, how much of the information being presented to us about the virus is complete BS? That it is the government misinforming us to divide and control us. It does bother me so many are not considering that option. What was frustrating was that in a recent news clip they said we only have to wait a few more months and we will be vaccinated. At the very beginning it was wait a few weeks, not an entire year.

@ryanm7615 the problem is that they have successfully divided us on so many issues. Take this virus, there are many who are still scared of it and thus support the lock downs, support the shut down of businesses and jobs being lost. But then becomes frustrated when the government does nothing to help. You have another group of people who want to reopen but get criticized by everyday Americans saying they want to kill others. That, along with many other issues has us divided in this nation.

@hizzlemobizzle that is why we should always limit the power government has. And that is always why we should question what information is available to us. Our politicians are taking advantage of useful idiots, I will be honest there. You can blame Facebook all you want, but when the people so blindly follow what they say that becomes the fault of the people. We, the people, allowed this mess to happen.

who is "he"? I feel a lot of politicians are playing with the lives of millions, all at the local, state and federal level. Why wait until after the election, but before the Georgia run off elections to pass this bill? Why did Congress wait? Also, at this point why do we continue to trust the government so much? Here them, and the media on their side, say "trust the science" and "listen to the experts", so we shut down the economy causing millions to suffer. And in return they offer no help back. At what point do you realize the government is screwing you over and start questioning things?

Jacob Strom two things. One, I, and many, feel like this virus is not dangerous. There are millions of dangers in life, this virus is just one more and really is not that big of a threat. Unfortunately, the government and media misled us with this virus dividing us. Two, even if it is a threat, if the government is not going to offer aid or help at that point us, as American people, need to take matters into our own hands. Open back up with pre-cautions, protect the vulnerable that want to be protected, and tell government officials to fuck off. In the end, it is on us to succeed and progress in life. We should not depend so much on the government. If we do that gives them so much power to basically enslave us which is what they are doing now.

@johnedwards1968 because based on everything I read I feel like this virus is not that dangerous. That information keeps being hid from us unless you really dig for it. The only real "expert" that gets attention is Fauci who admitted recently that he keeps moving the goal posts. Also, the timing of everything. Along with that, at this point us as the people have to start taking actions into our own hands, access the risk and tell government officials to fuck off as they do not care about us.

The best stimulus would be to reopen the economy and go back to a normal life. But instead we are scared of a little bug, trust the government in everything they say about it how it is supposedly dangerous, but then get baffled and mad when they do not help us out. At what point do people realized this whole thing is a scam?

@JanglesPrime999 Around 3 million die a year in the US, many cases are avoidable, we never shut down before? Why now? Also, covid deaths are overstated to begin with. Prior to covid almost all who have died we would have said died simply of old age. Since we are looking for it the number becomes overstated.
