@GordieKat , he bought the gun in CA. He passed a background check in CA. That is the point. Even if it is country wise these guns exist already. In Chicago they have a gang problem. Also, in Chicago it is the issue of how gun laws are so strict criminals with guns know that knowing that law abiding citizens won't have guns so they go there.

That is the point. What gun law would stop this? Same with other mass shootings. This guy bought his gun legally. He had an extended clip that is illegal in CA but he still used it. Gun control freaks are insane at this point.

@GordieKat , driving my car increases my chances of getting into a car accident. When I walk my chances of getting into a car accident is zero. Same concept applies for owning a gun.

@TheBigShaun100 , owning a gun does increases your chances of getting shot, same as driving a car increases your chances of getting into a car accident. We can eliminate all car accidents if we ban driving, is that a solution? Fact is that gun homicides have been dropping for years.

@GordieKat , an armed populace does decrease crime. The idea of someone with a gun being there prevents crime. What aren't these mass shootings happening at gun shows or in places that are gun friendly?

Kyle is an idiot. This shooter passed a background check.

The NRA does not make money off of gun sales.

In 1963 the federal government passed the Community Mental Health Act. It failed. But for some reason the ultra left wants to expand the federal government despite its constant failures. .

In 1963 JFK signed the Community Mental Health Act. It was a federal law designed to expand mental health access. Instead only half of the facilities were opened and none of them were fully funded. Also, many states just saw this as a way to pass the responsibilities to the federal government. Republicans support helping people, they feel the states are better at doing it. Based on history that seems to be the case. The ultra left wants to expand Medicaid despite the long history of the federal government failing on domestic policies. Learn your history.

The logic is that if there is a gun present than people will be less likely to commit crime. A great example is how all these antifa rallies happen in DC and CA with strict gun laws but not in states with relaxed gun laws. Now one can argue far left people live there, but is antifa were to stand in the lawn of someone in a state like Oklahoma like they did to Tucker's house in DC they would be shot. That is the point. Many potential mass shootings were stopped by a good guy with a gun, the CRC even supported that. But you won't hear that on the news. Please read up on this issue more.

@MrBennieagray , the "good guy with a gun" were the cops, they had to eventually get there. There are many potential mass shootings stopped by someone with a gun. In Alabama recently a shooter in a McDonalds was stopped by an armed individual. As for death rates, gun homicides have been dropping for 20 years.

@MrBennieagray , regulating guns means keeping them out of law abiding citizens. We should push to create a situation where people don't want to shoot up places, not ban the object.
