These days it is pushed by the far left as "things that are popular based on polls". One, polls are unreliable. Two, what is popular is not always best for the people. Bernie running on giving away free things is popular but not the best.

The political left is so extreme and has no desire to understand the other side's position. Kyle is very bad at that. This is why we have Trump and as long as they keep acting like this Republican will win and will have another SC justice.

Also, a lot of ideas that are labeled as "populist" are not the best for the people. For example, Bernie runs on Medicare for all as if that is a populist idea. It isn't as it is arguably not best for the people. Running on the idea of improving healthcare is a "populist" idea, but that can be approached in many ways. See the difference?

Robert Jenkins, you are pretty much correct. Kyle, and many on the left, view "populist" as what has popular support. They mainly look at polls. That does not mean that is what is best for the nation. Trump ran as a populist on the idea of wanting to do what is best for the common man.

Aconitus, she claimed to have native American heritage that was close and used it as part of a diversity group in Harvard. The percent she has would not even have her be accepted with native American groups. She literally lied at that point.
