  2. There is a desire to have government. You have to understand that too much government is just as bad as no government. Someone like Bernie wants too much government. You say "that taxes and services and regulations and social programs help us" They also make us dependent on the government. The federal government is corrupt, that is true. But the second you talk about cutting it to reduce corruption people fear they will lose their medicare, social security and so on. Think about it.

  11. What are you really trying to prove? What's your point? Capitalism is not corporatism. Are there some components of capitalism in corporatism? Yes. One can easily say that there are some components of socialism in capitalism. In both you have someone owning something. So by what you are saying socialism is capitalism. So tell me, what you are trying to prove? That capitalism is corporatism? That they are the same? If that is the case then you are 100% wrong. Or are you trying to use corporatism to show that capitalism is bad, which is also the wrong approach to use. That is similar to using communism to say socialism is bad. So tell me, what's your point?

  14. I am all for having a government and government run things. The issue is that too much government is just as bad as not government. The other issue is what should government do? There is no direct answer for that. I support smaller, more local government. More specifically state rights. Let the states run domestic policies. At the state level you have more control over the government and you also have the ability to move and remain a US citizen. How much socialism is debatable and has pros and cons. But as long as we can keep government in check and make sure it remains the servants and not the masters then we will have very few problems.

Out of the 2 federal only one functions well and it just so happens to be the one that is constitutional. You are trying to justify social programs ran at the state level to justify more federal programs. That is a very weak argument.
