No Masters, am not triggered. I just don't find her funny. I use comedy to get away from the serious issues in our society. It seemed like leftist comedians are triggered at this point when they have to use their platform to preach as opposed to humor.

bizurrker, I never said comedians should not mention politics. I they are pushing political propaganda these days. There is a difference. They can joke about politics all they want, I don't care. But with Wolf she was not bringing up jokes but instead was smearing others where they cannot defend themselves. A roast would be making fun of some habit that a politician does. Or some minor story that was brought up. Calling Sarah Sanders the "uncle tom" of white women is not a roast. It is calling Trump a sexist essentially and pushing that propaganda. To give an example, a roast would be if someone made fun of Romney saying "binder full of women" as he said that and the media took it way too far to be serious. But calling a woman an "uncle tom" is saying Trump is sexist, and any white woman that supports him or republicans are uncle toms. That is not a roast but a smear, big difference. Are there funny right wingers? Those that joke about politics are not too funny. I find David Angelo to be funny when he did the eEconomics videos. Most right wing comedians don't joke about politics though. As David Angelo did you would have to do 5 minutes of exposition in order for the jokes to be funny for most people. It would require a bit more intelligence to understand right wing political jokes. I do like Crowder's videos on Bernie Sanders. I also find Matt Christiansen to be funny, but I do not know if you would consider him a comedian. Does modern comedy trigger me? No. I just don't find it funny. I find it incredibly stupid. Political comedy on the left has been stupid. As Christopher Hitchens said to Bill Maher when Maher kept doing IQ jokes about Bush. It was a joke that stupid people laugh at. When others make IQ jokes about Trump, or racist and sexist jokes about Trump and republicans those are jokes stupid people laugh at. I don't care who was at the event, she was going there to smear, not roast. She can say whatever she wants. She has that freedom of speech. And I have the freedom of speech to say about her what I feel. Nowhere in all my comments did I ever say she should have been silenced. But great job strawmanning me.

She destroyed her career when she went into comedy. She isn't funny.
1
Colin Kaepernick is not NFL QB material.
1
Ben Ross, I did not find her funny. Steven Crowder has a decent break down of this. Comedians on the left have become so far left they are no longer funny. They are pushing political propaganda. There is a difference. Her walking off the stage talking about Flint and clean water is pushing a political ideology, not trying to be funny.
1
mayrana2, Crowder has more viewers than Kyle. In case you haven't noticed a lot of channels that lean right have more views than channels that are ultra left like Kyle's. You get outside of NY and LA people do not find comedians like Wolf funny. That is a reality. Wolf wasn't funny. I am not offended by what she said, neither was Crowder. Comedians on the left are not funny.
1
Robert James, there is a difference between a roast and pushing propaganda. Bringing up the Flint water situation is doing that. This was supposed to be funny, not personal and political.
1
Daniel Pierik, Wolf was at an event not to push propaganda, she did. Crowder was not. Crowder explained all of that. If you watched his video you would realize that. However, as predicted, you didn't but still felt you could make an opinion.
1
bizurrker Ramirez, difference with people like Hicks and Carlin is that they did it on stage at not at an event like Wolf did. That was a dinner where roasting if fine, but getting personal and over political isn't. If she was on a show that is one thing. Again, Crowder explains it in his video.

mayrana2, being popular on Youtube shows the dynamics of the population. It is following the trend of republicans and Trump winning. Kim Kardashian does not have a political show, Crowder does. The comparison is not valid. And Kyle has little to compete with. Remove TYT and you don't have much on the left. Fact is that people are no longer buying ultra leftist's BS anymore. Kyle is losing views.
1
I agree being popular does not mean being right, but two points there 1. When Kyle gets 45,000 views on this video and Crowder gets 280,000 on a similar video (in terms of the subject) it says something 2. If popular does not mean being right than why does Kyle continue to push these popularity polls as if they should dictate policy?
1
TYT's video on this subject has 181,000 views. Crowder, again, has 280,000. Not saying Crowder is the best, just showing the trend where people are going politically. The ultra left is not doing well and that is why people like Wolf feel the need to act the way they do.
1
mayrana2, I know what logical fallacies are, and I said I agreed with you that being popular does not mean being right. What I said was that with Crowder gaining popularity and Kyle losing views (along with TYT) shows where the dynamics of politics is swinging to.
1
mayrana2, there are a lot of right wing channels as well. Matt Christiansen is moderate and attracts a lot of right wing viewers. Ben Shapiro is right wing. Alex Jones is right wing. TYT is losing views. Majority Report gets next to nothing in views. The Jimmy Dore Show has been stagnate with views recently. Kyle is far left. He is a Bernie supporter. I am a moderate and I see Kyle is far left. Not saying that is wrong, just saying the truth. Examples are how he says there isn't any argument against universal healthcare and raising the min. wage. There are. Many experts oppose those ideas. If you support them that makes you left, but if you support them and then say there is not argument against them that makes you far left. That is what Kyle is.

bizurrker, a roast is not supposed to become too personal and not supposed to go too political. Wolf started to discuss political situations that are debatable and serious. Bringing up Flint is a great example.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HECI4QK_mXA This is a great description of the left and comedy. Those who find leftist comedians funny anymore will just laugh at anything when the jokes are stupid. As David Angelo said in a podcast, you have Maher saying "Sarah Palin is dumb" and people eat it up. That is not funny. They are jokes that stupid people laugh at. And you can call me triggered, I don't care. I just feel that comedy needs to have more thought into it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kH1WaHzvFkw That, to me, is funny.

There is a difference between a roast and a smear. Calling Sarah Sanders an "uncle tom" for white women is a smear. It is saying that republicans and Trump are sexist. That is not a roast.

How many homeless people have you given a home?

Bernie is not going to be president.

1. Who is Michelle Wolf? 2. None of her jokes were funny
