  1. Oh, the whole "other nations do it" argument. Saying that things make "sense" is not an argument as there is a debate to begin with. For example, K-12 education is ran at the state and local level, not federal. And the argument is that college is when you are an adult and it is an investment you make as an adult. Also, if you feel you need the government to educate your after a K-12 education, you are beyond help.
