There is not quantitative measure for mental health, it is all subjective. Also, just because you have a mental health problem does not mean you are dangerous. I have a mental health problem. I take an SSRI. I have a psychologist and a psychiatrist that say I am fit enough to own my four guns. But I have a mental health issue on my medical records. So should I be denied a gun?

Also, I strongly despised the El Paso shooter's action, but he is correct in saying that the left wants to bring in all these Hispanic, give them citizenship to gain a strong voting base to overtake our nation. It is an invasion. Problem is when someone who is even a moderate brings it up the far left cries racism and bigotry as opposed to having an actual discussion. If you remove all gun murders from the US the murder rate in the US is still twice as high as the murder rate of the UK. Reality is this, people decide to kill first before deciding the method. You need to prevent people from wanting to kill.

If you remove all gun murders from the US the murder rate in the US is still 2 times higher than the UK. We simply have a more violent culture. People decide to kill first before they decide on the method.

I have a mental health issue where I see therapy for and take an SSRI. Both of my doctors said I am fit to own a gun. My problem with the far left is that just want to make a blanket law to ban guns from people like me. Also, measuring for mental health is very challenging as there is no quantitative way to do it.

I don't condone what he did but he had a strong point that the far left is pushing for more immigrants from Hispanic nations and wants to give them citizenship to change our culture and gain their votes. As opposed to appealing to the American people they are pushing to fill the nation with outsiders to gain in power. They are promising them free healthcare and education on the way. We have a divide in this nation, this is why Trump was elected. To me the best that could happen is if a radical like Warren or Sanders runs against Trump and gets destroyed.   30. @polka 1. We spend more in the US compared to other nations because we offer more advanced testing. For example, we offer more CT scans per capita in the US. You can't just point to how much we spend and make a claim that it is good or bad. You have to point to what we receive in what we spend. 2. University tuition is high because of student loans. Student loans are a subsidize and most students are not denied them. What universities have done is jack up their prices knowing they have a guaranteed customer. 3. Define "living wage", that is vague. 4. The culture of the US and Switzerland is completely different. Really hard to compare.

They just want to ban guns which is impossible. We need to have a discussion on culture and mental health. The El Paso shooter mentioned how democrats want to create a large surplus of immigrants from HIspanic nations, make them legal citizens, and use it as a way to take over the nation. And when pressed democrats cry racism. Democrats don't want to have an actual discussion on the issue in how forcing change in our society will lead to violence like this.
