@igneouswatchman over 2 million die a year. Almost all who died were either old or sick to begin with and thus had a high chance of death. The virus deaths are overstated and hospitals are being told to list anyone dying with the virus as a coronavirus death. 70,000 is around 0.02% of the nation. With a percent that small you are dealing with so many variables and you cannot tell to what issue contributed the most. The reason why is due to lack of data. Consider how small 70,000 is overall.
The same is with the 30,000 stat you bring up. That number actually varies. One study says 18,000, another says 60,000. Now think about that, 18,000 is around half of 30,000. 60,000 is double of 30,000. That is essentially an error bar of over 50%. That is huge. Same with flu deaths. If you look at flu deaths it ranges with 20% error. Why? Because the overall numbers are small.
So you can't just throw numbers out there and expect them to mean anything.
