  2. Here is the irony of the situation. Kyle was complaining how in the Dem debates it does not give Bernie enough time to explain his policies. Because, in reality, these issues are complex and need a long explanation. However, when Kirk does that Kyle claims that all Kirk is doing doing is "gish galloping". So what is it? Do we need long explanations or short one liners? Also, the cussing did not help. Kyle claimed that a couple of his buddies supporting him means he won.

  3. Kyle has nothing but talking points. He lost the debate against Kirk because, when pushed beyond the talking points, Kyle just became angry and cursed. He has no actual rebuttal. And now he is back in his echo chamber patting himself on the back.

  4.  @ianbenjiman  , a problem with the current tax code is that who has time to learn it? I know a lot about it because I am a nerd, but that is just me. I tell college students that books they buy are a write off and they did not know that. With my 1099s I try my best to make any expense towards my 1099s or for education. The tax code is thousands of pages long. Really it is a system to cater to the elites.

  5. Kirk came with actual details on the things he was talking about and all Kyle did was curse and give on liners. Reality is this, all Kyle has are talking points. When pressed he becomes angry and shouts them. There are many times Kyle was completely wrong. The problem is that Kyle's fans still say he won or created some excuses they can't support. Where was Kirk wrong? So far I have not seen any of Kyle's fans explain. Meanwhile, I can easily point to many times Kyle was wrong.

  6.  @bluedreamkush2392  , read the book "The Righteous Mind" by Jonathan Haidt. In one section he has a group of conservatives and a group of liberals write down how they feel on certain topics. He then asked the same groups to write down how the other side will feel about a topic. The conservatives did a much better job at predicting how liberals will feel compared to the liberals predicting how conservatives will feel.

  12.  @ianbenjiman  , a flat tax will be best. In my opinion, at the federal level, the tax code should only be a flat tax with a consumption tax. No loopholes. Leftists complain about loopholes for the rich but support loopholes for middle class citizens. Well, if you are going to allow one you open the legal pathways for others. Reason why we won't see a tax code like that is for two reasons. Catering to a particular group to gain votes, and jobs. If you create a simplify tax code guess what, all those tax companies like Turbotax and H&R Block go out of business. I use Turbo tax because I have 3 W-2 and 3 1099s
