mayrana2 , college is an investment. It is you showing employers you are willing to invest both time and money to accomplish a long term goal.
2
@Ssen0nesS , labor actually have zero value until an employer decides to pay for your work.
2
Are they poor? What do you based that off of?
1
@Kehwanna , define "smart".
1
Mark Dice , exactly. San Fran is the liberal utopia.
1
@uncleubi9008 , why is that? Kentucky has 2 federal prisons and 2 federal correctional institutions. Don't you think that plays a role?
1
@Kehwanna , does college make you smarter? I know many smart people who never went to college.
1
@uncleubi9008 , I feel there is way more to it than that.

He does want to give things for free to others. For example, he wants to raise taxes on the rich to give to the poor. He wants to give free things to people by not raising their taxes.
1
@cineris2389 , people like the El Paso shooter do not represent the right. If you are going to blame a particular side than blame the left. The left has become so radical that they refuse to have an actual discussion on the issues and just dismiss people. When you refuse to listen to other people's concern they will act out violently.
1
@williamkelly5689 , they are as they grew up in a poor economy and don't care for the SJWs. The younger generation is going to be more conservative than usual.
1
@cineris2389 , are they tenants of right wing conservative? Who on the right is pushing to conserve a white majority? They are pushing to have standards in immigration laws and keep out illegals. This is the exact point I am making, you have dismissed the arguments from the right so much that you created your own argument which isn't true.
1
@xander413 , this is exactly what I am saying. You dismiss the other side without listening to them. When you do that you are labeling them as not being important.
1
@LiesandPolitics , live how? What is your standard? Also, around 98% who work full time year round are not poor.
1
@ericmcintosh1926 , an axe has zero value to me as I have no need to cut down a tree. It is all subjective. Same with labor. A kid can charge $15 to mow a lawn, I will pay as I don't have a lawn to mow. If I did I would feel $15 is fine so I pay the kid. If he charges $50 than I will feel it isn't worth it.
1
@menthar , unions are being undermined because they are corrupt. Who donates a lot of money to politicians? Unions. Also, right to work states have lower unemployment. In the end I am all for unions, but crony unionism is an issue.
1
@Tykostr , lowers wages compared to what cost of living? And why are the mortality rates higher? Are they just simply more dangerous jobs? You have to understand that you can't just make a one to one connection there. I don't support crony capitalism either, it goes both ways.
1
@CaptainDeegan , because he isn't a serious individual here. I am here to have a serious discussion, not be mocked.
1
@codyrobitille1129 , it does until someone invests in it. Me going out and digging holes in the desert has zero value unless someone pays me to do it. That is why there is all this talk about job creators. Job creators give labor value. They invest in someone's labor giving it value.
1
@Tykostr , it is the other way around. Workers are nothing without job creators.
1
@menthar , working 2 jobs means lower unemployment? AOC is that you?
1
@menthar , to start, what is wealth? When you learn what wealthy is you realize you simply can't tax it that easily.
1
@codyrobitille1129 , my labor has no value until someone values it. That's how the market works. Same in how a certain good has no value until someone values it. I agree no one does things for free, that is where the trade off comes it. The employer values your labor to a certain point. They pay you hoping to earn a profit off of you. They know you won't work for free. But if you value your labor at $100/hr no one will pay that unless you are highly skilled and rare.
1
@menthar , corporations don't control that, the market does. A problem with the far left is that they feel there is some person or some group of people in an office saying X job is worth Y dollars. That isn't how it works. The market dictates that with several moving parts. You rip on CEOs but how many people can actually do the job of a CEO, or wants to? Corporations and the CEO are not the problem.
1
@menthar , what do corporations control? I have never seen a corporation force anyone to do anything. Do they buy out politicians and corrupt them? Yes. But that is a problem of big government, not corporations. Corruption is just a symptom, the disease is a government that is too large that we, the people, can't control. If government has limited powers than he has nothing to sell. The solution is to have a very limited federal government and more powers to the state and local government.
1
@Tykostr , yes, you value your time, that is why you, yourself, will not work for free. If an employer comes to you asking to work for them and refuses to pay you than you will not work for them. But if you demand $50/hr to flip burgers, they will not buy your labor. There is a balance. You value your labor, but if someone else does not value it than the reality is that you are worth nothing.
1
@menthar , if the government has limited powers than it has nothing to sell.

You know you are winning when parody accounts are made to mock as opposed to having an actual, intelligent conversation.
