Fleshcut Romney won the votes of those with a college degree, Obama won the votes of those with no college education.

Well military funding is actually constitutional, obamacare isn't. These people got voted in to do things like this, to oppose Obama and follow the constitution. Federal and healthcare spending are also unconstitutional. Defense spending is high in the US because other countries refuse to actually develop a military. If we were to cut defense spending and pull our troops out then the eastern hemisphere will literally fall apart. Also, most spending on defense is designed to prevent violence. We spend time training other military and developing relations between foreign leaders to solve conflict without violence. Most violence comes from terrorism. And just because Obama is going to veto it doesn't mean they shouldn't pass it. Those republicans were elected to do just that, challenge Obama. Bush went with what the democrats wanted in 2007 when they took over, Clinton did what the republicans wanted. It is time for Obama to lead.

kaizoisevil Funding for education has been going up for decades, funding isn't the issue. Yes we need a military, we spend a lot of money preventing violence.

***** One, federal spending on education is unconstitutional. Also, where are these education cuts? Here is a quote from the US Department of Education "By the end of the 2004-05 school year, national K-12 education spending will have increased an estimated 105 percent since 1991-92; 58 percent since 1996-97; and 40 percent since 1998-99. On a per-pupil basis and adjusted for inflation, public school funding increased: 24 percent from 1991-92 through 2001-02 (the last year for which such data are available); 19 percent from 1996-97 through 2001-02; and 10 percent from 1998-99 through 2001-02"
