They do pay their fair share. They pay more than you do.

@AHersheyHere , Bernie Sanders has never accomplished anything in his life outside of politics.

@pengmaeda9908 , I rather have a leader be president. Bernie has never led in anything.

@pengmaeda9908 , Burlington, VT has around 40,000 people in it, not impressive. Being the mayor of a small "city" with little diversity and issues is not a challenge. How about he be governor of a larger state. Yes, his career is in politics which is the problem. He has never accomplished anything outside of it. Even in politics he never held fundraisers and raised money for a needy cause. He never ran a charity. He never ran a business. He does not understand what it is like to be the common man. All he knows what to do is mooch off of the government. What actions has he done in life to actually make a difference?

@pengmaeda9908 , the last good democrat president was Bill Clinton, he was governor of Arkansas at one point. That is a position of leadership. Trump ran major businesses, that is a position of leadership. Being mayor of a town of 40,000 that has no diversity, only one public high school, and no real issues due to the small population and essentially being isolated form the rest of the nation, is not impressive.

@pengmaeda9908 , he "fought" how? Saying "fighting" is a major problem with the left. Look up Stephen Michael Davis's recent video about David Pakman. He talks about Cenk at one point and how Cenk claims that all he needs to do is "fight". Fight how? All he has done is run his mouth. Talk is cheap, what has he actually done? As for the issues, he has a grossly oversimplify approach to them. He has no actual plans nor details. He just repeats the same tired talking points over and over again. Reality is this, he has not accomplished anything in his life. He became mayor in a "city" of 40,000, he became a senator in a small state with no diversity nor issues. He is a career politician. When he decides to run for president he becomes a democrat, writes a book and made millions. Trump has had a ton of success in business and our nation is getting stronger under him. Did you watch the SOTU? His success is so strong that democrats are losing their minds. They would not stand up and clap on the idea that a girl was given a scholarship to go to a school of her choice? Well, I guess democrats want us all to go to public schools I guess. Face it, Bernie has no accomplished anything.

@pengmaeda9908 , he doesn't fight for the common person. Look at how he acted towards that hair salon owner during the debate with Cruz. He had no desire to try to understand her position. There are many middle class Americans like her who run small businesses and Bernie has no desire to try to understand their position. He just sees them as a greedy business owner. Or me, I have a 6 figure loan. I am pursuing my PhD and I will pay it off. Bernie has no care for me because he know he can't buy my vote. He has no desire to understand my thought process on the issues. Bernie just wants to create victims and cater to them. He doesn't care about actual hard working Americans. This is why Bernie won't win. Come election time many hard workings Americans will question him and will find out that if he can't buy their vote he won't care about them.

@tylerchamberlain4552 no one paid that high rate

What is wrong with billionaires? That is the point. Just because someone has billions does not mean they are evil. Also, just because someone is rich does not make others poor.
1
In reality billionaires don't have actual billions in cash. Most of their wealth is tied in assets that is not liquidated. It isn't like they have it in a vault somewhere.

@camelopardalis84 , if you do that the market and our society will crash.
1
@camelopardalis84 , because a large reason why the wealth they posses is worth so high is because they own it to begin with. If you just take the wealth from them and give it to some random person on the street the value of their wealth will drop. For example, if you take shares of Bezos' company from Bezos and give it to a random person the value of the shares will drop a lot because now the investment is a high risk. But to give a much simpler solution on ownership and the value of wealth. I just bought a car with 65,000 miles on it. It is a 6 speed with a clutch. I take great care of my cars throughout my life. My sister has a long history of damaging cars and can't drive a clutch. If you give the exact same car to her and were to bet that in 5 years whose car will have more value, her's or mine, who will you bet? Same is with shares of a company and value. You can't just take wealth and give it to other people because the value will drop.

Kyle: "Billionaires bought out government!" also Kyle: "We should let this corrupt government run our healthcare, finances and economy!"
1
@Bluebelle51 , how about you limit the powers of the federal government as opposed to giving it more power to sell. Far leftists like Kyle is that spouse in an abusive relationship. The relationship is abusive so their idea is to marry them. That does not help so their idea is to have a kid, and then another when the abuse still happens. With government Kyle complains about it being corrupt but then feels that we can just give it more power and that will somehow stop it.
