In this strong economy moderates are not going to vote for an old socialist that just repeats the same things over and over again.

@Del2394-g3z , defense spending has been dropping for decades. If you cut defense spending to zero it won't pay for M4A. Also, everyone agrees the federal government should provide a military. That is Constitutional. Not everyone agrees the federal government should fund healthcare. As for the whole "voting against their interests", there are many well informed people who are very skeptical of a federally ran healthcare system. I bet many are more informed than you are.

Political Left , Trump does not fear Bernie. In 2016 he may have, but now with a strong economy and Bernie just repeating his same, tired talking points as he did in 2016, he won't gain support. This is especially true now that the democrats have shown how dysfunctional they are.

@osaenz00 , we don't lack social programs. We arguably have too many and it is holding us back. Many people on these social programs can work but refuse to up to their full potential. A major problem with social programs is that it hinders wealth growth. Consider this. Say 80% of the population works and 20% don't, but we have a program that gives money to those 20%. The wealth available is what is created by the 80%. So 100% of the population only has access to, at best, 80% of the wealth. That is not good.

@haschishvon-spliffenson3994 , Bernie only has the same handful of talking points. They are old and does not motivate anyone.

@whyispinkysoinsane7898 , what are you going to say when Bernie loses?

@CheesyChez421 , Bernie does not understand any policy. When confronted by a hair salon owner during the debate against Cruz on how she can expand her business and pay for healthcare, Bernie just said "I don't know, you have to do it". He has zero understanding of what actually goes on in society, how businesses operate, the real challenges people face, how they really feel. I have talked to many democrats and they say Bernie is way too radical.

That will work, especially in today's economy.

@whyispinkysoinsane7898 , history says so.
