  3. If you were really studying to be a teacher you will understand that he states run K-12 education and DeVos wants to give more autonomy to the states. That means more power to the teachers and parents as well. So you will actually support DeVos.

  4. People need to realize that K-12 education is ran by the states and the federal government has little involvement to begin with. What DeVos wants to do is to give more power to the states which means the states, teachers and parents have more control of education as opposed to the federal government butting in. This is good. The criticism of DeVos are from people who either 1. Don't understand K-12 education in our country and the issues we face 2. Want the federal government to be more involved in K-12 education
