I rather have my freedoms. Accidents happens. We don't want the government keeping us "safe".

Mglosk There is a difference between being safe and oppressing us. By what you are suggesting we might as well allow the government to come in our homes anytime and make sure we don't have any thought crimes. It is like DUI checkpoints, they are unconstitutional. But people don't care because they keep us "safe". Well, with that thinking why not ban driving. All driving related deaths are ban. Same as might as well ban mountain climbing. On average around 25 die a year. Gun control is always a hot topic but not other policies designed to keep us "safe". That is because guns are the last line of defense against tyranny. The federal government doesn't care about your safety. If it did it will push other policies through to keep you "safe" besides taking away your rights. And I don't play with my guns.

How are you going to enforce safes? You would have to enter a person's home to see if they are using it.

***** It doesn't matter what they are served to use, it is that people are being killed by them in some way. Taking away guns is for our "safety". But yet the government doesn't really push to take other dangerous items or activities away. Guns are the last line of defense against tyranny. Taking guns away protects the government, not us. There are more regulations the government can do to protect us as in close down businesses when there is snow and ice on the roads. That is never suggested.

That is deceptive. Our soldiers are trained to fight and survive, plus have guns themselves. How many of these children who died were in gangs and just ignorant? That is what you have to look at.
