  1. This happens in developing countries. It is a catch 22. If you tell these countries to cut back on pollution they cut back on industry and end up dying due to poor economic gains. It would be great to cut pollution for these countries while having them improve their economy, but it would also be great to teleport.

  2. Doc Man, it is basic economics. 100% employment means no more growth. People switch jobs and are thus unemployed or lose jobs due to technology. Also, 100% employment would lead to a high rate if inflation as everyone would be asking for raises with low supply of workers.

  3. Zachary, climate change has been happening for over 4 billion years. How do you change it? Also, many people lack the skill set to work in that field.

  5. Iluan, that's great. Now who do you have that can do the work? In the US we lack workers like that. We lack them worldwide. Also, that line of work is not easy. I work in the STEM field as well and I see the difficulty of R&D.

  7. James, there is value in some sort of social safety net. I just read a book by an economist who was right wing that supported Medicaid, he just wanted it at the state level.
