I am not saying that book has all the answers, my point is that this issue is very complex and there are several arguments being made that the US has higher quality such as higher survival rates. One is that we have higher cancer survival rates. I can point to one source from that book, but I suggest you read it along with other books on the topic and other studies. This issue is complex and when the far left reduces it down to simple arguments like you did in bringing up debt you are not doing anyone really any favors. Yes, the US has problems and one is debt, but the US does many things well and other nations have many shortcomings.

  14. Healthcare is a commodity as someone has to provide it. You can't ignore that. Other nations realize that as well. That is something many on the far left are not willing to accept.

  28.  C W  , politicians don't have financial stake? They do, it is called votes. Politicians will make decisions only to gain votes and disregard long term effects. That is why the SC Justices are not elected, they have to make tough decisions that are unpopular in the short term but good in the long run. Same with the Federal Reserve.
