Those are for illegals, people breaking the law. We are talking about law abiding citizens here.

A lot of the issues are happening locally and with democrats. As in MI and NY for example.
3
@Couple From The Moors Uh, the constitution limits all government. But hey, forget about that.
3
@Xpistos510 this is the irony of the left. They bitch and complain how corrupt it is but then is so willing to let government expand and take over more parts of your life. Consider the career politicians that became rich by being only politicians. Bernie is one of them. How can you place that must trust in the government?
3
@thepolishlatinofromphilly9709 than why do you want it to manage your healthcare and the economy?
3
Exactly. What is scary is that many governors are, by a drop of a hat, changing laws and our way of life. That is overreach and not good.
3
Progressives are weird. They complain about how corrupt the government is but then is so willing to let it strip away our rights and give it more power.
2
No, it was founding on the idea of being independent and limited government. On such idea was having religious freedom.
2
@noviedeos most likely the latter. I have argued with far leftists for a long time, they ignore reality.
2
Bad example. Read the first amendment, it cannot deny the practicing of religion. The human sacrifice example is poor as murder is illegal all around. In society we find a balance with freedom and some level of control. Murder laws do not discriminate against anyone or anything. Also, murder is the direct intent to harm. With the virus there is no intent to harm. It is just a part of life.
1
Because Kyle is a communist. During this virus issue noticed how he is not questioning the lock downs at all and wants people to follow it without question?
1
@Boredasfuck29 he did leave TYT.
1
False equivalence. Murder is illegal all around. Also, murder is a direct intent to harm. We find a balance between allowing freedom and having control of society. So you have religious freedom, but you cannot murder. It is a balance. Just like you can own a gun, but cannot use it to murder beyond self defense. In relation to this virus people are not intentionally harming people. So people should still be allowed to gather virus or not.
1
@Engineer_Heathen uh, people holding religious gatherings are not intentionally harming people. By your standard everyone who interacts with society in some way is intentionally harming people. When I drive I place others in danger. When I cook on my stove I am placing others in danger. I cooked Raman Noodles yesterday. That requires my stove top which, by turning it one, increases the chance of a fire that can harm my neighbors in my apartment complex. So by your standard we should have a ton of restrictions in place, but we don't You argument is highly flawed.

Tucker was interviewing the governor of NJ and the governor said he was not thinking of the bill of rights when he was creating the orders he did. Scary.
1
Kyle is a communist who has full trust in the government even though he also complains how corrupt it is.
1
Except a lot of scientists are questioning that. Also, why trust the government so much?
1
@Boredasfuck29 yes, like all other diseases. This virus is being overblown.
1
Poor example. You can't discriminate against a religion. Murder applies to everyone. Also, murder is a direct intent to harm.
1
Yep, but let us allow it to run our healthcare, education, economy, etc.
1
What rights did they lack?
1
He is complaining about the restrictions as a whole.
1
@bellaurent what he is saying is correct. A lot of government officials are using this virus as an excuse to take away people's rights. GA has been open for over a week now and yet no spike in cases. Why is that? Maybe the virus is not that bad. Thus, we should start opening up. But many states are extending their stay at home orders.
1
@austen8718 not true. In Mississippi a drive in gathering lead to citations and a judge overruled it. Also, Attorney General Barr is saying these orders are unconstitutional. The issue is that the courts, like everything else, are essentially shut down thus it is difficult to take it court to begin with. But if this did go to the SC these laws will be shut down.
1
@austen8718 also, most of the citations that occurred on Easter are being fought. But again the courts are essentially shut down so really this issue has not been challenged in court.
1
Is it though? Some question if the shut down is actually alleviating the spread. Some question that the shut down is causing more harm now. We take risks all the time and we place others at risk essentially all the time. How is this virus any different now?
1
@kentfink9509 no examples given. Figures.
