+Cristian Elizondo What is ironic is that democracy can be used to push fascism.

+Everylittlething68 The US has arguably the best healthcare system in the world as is.

+Pragmatus But who is winning the election?
1
+Pragmatus Rules are rules. It is the primaries, Bernie can still run in the general election. But those rules are in place to prevent republicans from voting in a very weak candidate for the democrats. There are legit reasons why they are there. Maybe 1. Bernie should have been a democrat for more than a few months 2. His supporters should have been more involved in politics than just a few months

+Pragmatus It isn't called voter suppression, you can vote in local elections to change state laws if you want. You can vote in the general election if you want. This is simply a case of Bernie supporters being politically ignorant.
1
+Pragmatus Rules are rules. Remember that Bernie was not a democrat until the primaries. This isn't voter suppression.
1
+Pragmatus You clearly don't understand the constitution. The primaries are where both parties pick their candidates in their way. They don't have to have an election, they can just meet and pick one like other parties do.
1
+Pragmatus Ok, so they open the election to all and a bunch of republicans come in and vote in some crazy candidate, now the democrats are screwed.
1
+Burger Bastard The primaries don't have to happen. The DNC can simply say that they want to nominate Clinton and that is it.

+Cristian Elizondo Nothing at the federal level has ever been determined by the majority. You proved once again how ignorant Bernie supporters are when it comes to the government in the US.

+Alex 161 Chances are that if you don't have any problem with your healthcare system it is because you don't have anything major to care for. It is that way in most countries. I have no problem with the US system because I never had to get major care.

+sullyFL The US has arguably the best healthcare system in the world https://www.aei.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/-the-business-of-health_110115929760.pdf To expand on that using life expectancy "Prof. Ohsfeldt acknowledges that regression was chosen for its relative simplicity for what he called his “little book project.” And he agrees that some deaths that his book attempted to remove from the life-expectancy tables might be dependent on health-care systems. “We’re not trying to say that these are the precisely correct life-expectancy estimates,” he told me. “We’re just trying to show that there are other factors that affect life-expectancy-at-birth estimates that people quote all the time.” These factors (which could also include rates obesity and smoking, also arguably the result of lifestyle choices rather than health care) call into question the value of country rankings, especially where the difference between the leading countries is often less than a year. Prof. Ohsfeldt compared the situation to college rankings where two schools with minute differences are ranked, somewhat arbitrarily." blogs.wsj.com/numbers/does-the-us-lead-in-life-expectancy-223/ All the stats you throw out mean nothing when you break it down because the differences between the US and Canada are so minute that it becomes noise. So any Canadian that "laugh at the absurdity of our system" is clearly ignorant. At best they are equal.

The WHO ranking is unreliable. It compares the US to countries like Malta and San Marino. We have high school football stadiums that hold more people than what is in San Marino. San Marino is a tourist country that attracts people with lots of money. It is of no surprise that they will excel in healthcare. Sorry, but pointing to the WHO immediately as a legitimate ranking immediately discredits you.

+Cristian Elizondo Phone polls are unreliable. Plus the recent election showed how the people really don't want it.

+No Google I don't want to use my real name https://www.aei.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/-the-business-of-health_110115929760.pdf Read that book
1
+No Google I don't want to use my real name Did you even consider reading the book?
1
+No Google I don't want to use my real name Look at the references of that book, it has citations from peer review journals. " No I preffer to live in reality, not in books." So how do you learn if you don't read books?
1
+No Google I don't want to use my real name I bet you get your info from independent news like Kyle or TYT.
1
+No Google I don't want to use my real name Independent news is very bias, that is the problem. Kyle is incredibly bias and is about as myopic as it comes.
1
+No Google I don't want to use my real name In other words, "independent news" is not reliable.
1
+No Google I don't want to use my real name Yes, he is bias. He is more bias than Fox News. But what am I doing, I am saying this to a guy who can't read.
1
+No Google I don't want to use my real name Remember, you can't read.
