  1. Kyle, if drug companies push for low quality drugs all the time how about you explain a few times it does. Funding for public schools is not a problem, it has been increasing for years. Poor people are struggling right now as is in public schools. The current system is not working, we should try something new.

  2. Yevrus, I never suggested that at all. What Kyle is pushing for is the same status quo that is not working. Anyway, K-12 is ran and funded by the state and local government. Trump can't do much to begin with.

  3. The funding by the federal government is minute compared to what the states provide and it is mainly for at risk schools, or Title I schools. I actually agree with stopping federal funding for all schools as it is unconstitutional. But as a whole the funding is minute from the federal level so states can afford it just fine, especially if you lower federal taxes.

  4. gabriel west, read the constitution and you will see the word "education" is not listed in there at all. Thus the issue of education goes to the states as part of the 10th amendment. So federal funding of education is unconstitutional.

  5. Hugh Miller, that is not a solution because you are assuming that the federal government has the revenue to fund K-12 education to begin with. We are nearly $20 trillion in debt. At the state level the issue is micromanage better and it is actually better to run it that way in terms of cost.
