  3. The jobs were going to be HQ jobs, so $150,000 on average. Also, AOC has no clue what she is talking about. They weren't going to give Amazon that much money, they gave them a discount. For example, if Amazon was going to pay $5 billion in taxes they would have paid $2 billion instead.

They were not giving them money, they were giving them a discount on taxes. Such as if they would have paid $5 billion they would have paid $2 billion. Now NYC gets zero.
