There are 4 methods to measure inflation and inflation hardly takes into account quality of goods. Saying it hasn't kept up with inflation is flawed in many ways.

  9. Chris, there is a strong correlation between a student's household income and their success. Now there are several factors tied into it, but one can argue that K-12 education does not play that significant of a role in someone's future success.

  11. This is why teacher unions are crap. They care more about their pay then actually teaching. As for their low pay, WV is ranked 47th in median income. So the 48th ranking makes sense. Also, cost of living is low in WV. Kyle, once again, failed at statistics.

  12. WV is number 1 in home ownership rate. That suggests a low cost of living. I know there is more to it than that, but it is arguable that it is not high.
