As for my 60%, I am incorrect in that was the tax rate, however, the median income in Denmark is around $43,000 a year, close to $55,000. The US median income is around $63,000 a year, much farther away (around 7 times that) than the top income bracket. Looking closer yes, the top tax bracket covers around 10% (a little over) but in the US it only covers the top 0.01%. 10% is much more people compared to 0.01%. Also, you have the VAT tax as well. So there is that. You told me to "google it", I did.
