One, they don't cuss. Next, the democrats have gone extreme left the past few years. Republicans have become moderates. When Republicans try to engage in a civil conversation with those on the left the political left just throw out insults and push to censor the right. They label the right as bad people and push the idea that they have to be punished. Republicans try to stay PC about it. Trump and Christie don't which is why they gain so much support. Watch the video entitled "Governor Christie Responds To Teacher During Town Hall" Christie was not PC, but the person he was responding to was ridiculing him from the beginning. When the left refuses to act mature you get politicians like Christie and Trump.

You can't make an argument for being radical on any side. If you make an argument for the far left you will be destroyed. Same with making the argument for the far right. You don't attract moderates that way. That can work in a very blue or very red district, but running for governor in Maryland that is moderate you have to take that approach.

Nice maturity. This is how justice democrats act, like children. Enjoy losing Mr. Jealous.

Mochi, swearing during a press conference like that is not professional. How is he going to act when challenged? Is he just going to cuss them out? That is the problem. No one will take him serious at that point.

Lord Morningstar, Trump did not cuss. Also, Trump is the result of the political left being too far left. The political right recently has been the moderate ones. When they try to have a civil discussion the left has pushed to silence them by calling them racists, sexists, or calling then a bad person and feeling they need to be punished. Trump does not care what others say so he did this whole anti-pc attitude and as a result he won.

Storie, AOC making the "catcalling" comment is one.

295Phoenix, you bring up those numbers but don't know what they really mean. Having talking points are not arguments.
1
Mochi, how was it a stupid question?
1
295Phoenix, the number is not 0 in other countries. For example, up to 7000 die in Australia on waiting lists waiting for "elective" surgery. People die in other nations due to shortcomings in their healthcare system.
1
295Phoenix, it is not impossible to die due to elective surgery. Also, it isn't just death but also financial problems arise due to people being out of work due to long wait times and problems becoming worse. Read the paper entitled "Waiting for elective surgery: effects on health-related quality of life" Also, read the paper entitled "True versus reported waiting times for valvular aortic stenosis surgery" Where people have died in Canada waiting for "elective" heart surgery. Read the paper entitled "Waiting times and prioritisation for coronary artery bypass surgery in New Zealand" There it reported people dying waiting for "elective" bypass surgery alone. I am all for improving our healthcare system, but you have to be honest here. You can't cherry pick and misrepresent one stat and expect to progress on something as complex as healthcare.
1
295Phoenix, so you don't care about understanding the complexity of healthcare but feel the need to have a strong opinion on it?
1
I feel bankruptcies are a problem. I never said the US system was ideal. I admit it has problems. However, if you want to progress our healthcare system you have to be fair and honest here and realize that universal healthcare systems have many shortcomings as well.
1
295Phoenix, healthcare is as complex as it gets. The fact you deny this shows you are not suitable for having a discussion on this issue.
1
295Phoenix, I do want to fix the problem. The reality is that it isn't easy. How do you fix bankruptcies? You want the government to pay for healthcare. It isn't that easy as you are no increasing demand in healthcare without increasing supply. That will raise prices or lower quality. If it were as easy as you claim we would have solved it by now.
1
No, this is the intelligence level of Justice Democrats. If they have knowledge they would not be Justice Democrats.
