He did a terrible job. He only had talking points.

Uh, they don't. The top 10% earn 40% of the income.

They know. Why didn't Bill correct him?

Who is being exploited?

@ProperlyGaming , that isn't exploitation. Watch the video I posted. Very few people are skilled enough to run a business. A business owner behind the desk gives that labor value where without that business owner that worker's labor has zero value.

@blackflagsnroses6013 , the public school system is ran and funded locally. No one is talking about zero government and a completely free market system. Many who support capitalism support government as well as long as it is controlled and limited. You do that by creating boundaries and keeping government as local as possible. Watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQLBitV69Cc When you keep government programs local you can see if you are getting your money's worth through the taxes. The guy in that video said in one of his videos the beauty of capitalism is that people can generally get what they want. With local government programs you can see if government is giving you what you want. And if you don't like it you can rally to change or move and remain a US citizen. No one is being exploited here. As was mentioned in that video your labor is worth nothing until an employer hires you. And yes, the employer profits, but so do you where without the employer you will be earning $0.

@lncerante , let us go to the extreme here. Say a manager is running a restaurant. With no workers available they will be doing the work. They will be cooking the food and taking orders. Will it be slow? Yes. But no one has jobs so he won't have many customers to begin with. Many business owners end up doing a job when they don't hire someone. I remember at the place I worked at the janitor quite so the business owner ended up doing it until he hired a new one. Or how he had one guy always open the place up at 4 in the morning. When that guy took a vacation the business owner did it. A business owner, if needed, will do the work. They hire employees to expand their business. It isn't that they can't do the work, they hire people to do it to make the business more profitable. The reality is this, someone's labor is worth nothing until a business owner invests into it. Just like in reality something like a car is worth nothing until someone is willing to buy it. Yes, there is a price tag on it usually in line with the market rate, but the seller of that care earns nothing until someone values it and buys it. Same with labor. Labor is worth nothing until someone values it and buys it. In this case the business owner. Without a business owner there will be no workers.

His ideas are poor thus his arguments, by default, are poor.

@brandonm949 , true.
1
@sabin97 , the top 10% earned 40% of the income and paid 70% of federal taxes.

What was wrong with what he said?
1
Cant_Touch_This 1. Trump is from America and wanted to improve it based on the system that exist in America. 2. When did they say that? Uh, some of the states with the highest poverty rates are states with a lot of immigrants. CA and NY are in the top 10 in poverty.

It isn't so much of living. They earned it and typically people that rich invest that helps the economy. The argument is that I rather have someone like Hannity, who legally earned his money, keep more of it as opposed to a wasteful government taking more of it.
1
@brandonm949 , it is much more complex than that. The rich place their money in banks and stocks which are invested in the economy. Banks only keep 10% of their reserves.
1
@brandonm949 , so to add, when a rich person puts $100,000 in the bank $90,000 goes into the economy.

You can remove the min. wage and it will actually raise wages.
1
@originalsinquirls1205 , I support private unions a long as the government stays out of it. I studied history. It will raise wages like this. Employers can hire people who were out priced by the min. wage. That means more productivity which means more wealth creation and thus prices go down.
1
@bosssause788 , if you studied economics you will realize that one argument is that businesses should train their own workers. One part hindering that is the min. wage. Also, when left alone people will eventually get an education. Survival of the fittest will reign.
1
@Shutchohole , Actually many stats shows that wages have gone up. It depends on what method of inflation you use.
1
@originalsinquirls1205 , how did it contradict itself?
1
@originalsinquirls1205 so no rebuttal.

@originalsinquirls1205 , how did I contradict myself? You have to explain.
