  2. Kyle has been saying a crash was going to happen for years. When the stock market dropped a couple years ago he said a recession is happening. The steel working industry has been losing jobs for decades. Retail has been losing jobs for a while as well due to online sales. Kyle is an economic illiterate.

  4.    , what the Fed is doing is simply making up for increased demand in loans. Being at the end of the year this is not necessarily a bad thing and can be managed easily. These are short term loans we are talking about, not the housing crisis that is 5% of the economy. Overall, the economy is strong. What Kyle is talking about is simply a trend where, especially for the steel workers, jobs were being lost for decades. Retail is being hit with online sales. No president can stop this unless they use illegal means (like ban online sales).

  8. @ocelot. , I agree it can be difficult to predict downturn, but Kyle's knowledge on economics is so poor that he just keeps crying wolf. Besides, in the US steel case they are moving the Indiana to create nearly 4000 new jobs. Kyle leaves that out.

  15. This is just the transformation of the economy. Retail and steel working jobs have been disappearing, especially the latter for decades as automation improves. Retail is being harmed with online sales. Simply put, this is no different than when the tractor killed farming jobs. People just work elsewhere.
