  4. At the core, especially on economic issues, the political left bases their ideas on emotions and the political right bases their ideas on facts and logic. Both sides are needed as we need facts and logic but we are human and thus have emotions. Problem is when you go too far to one side. Kyle is a far leftist thus he will base his ideas on emotions like his dad dying and ignore a lot of facts and logic.
