  3. Yes, Bernie has won his state which isn't unheard of. The retention rate of congress is high. The original comment is referring to the rest of the country. Most Bernie supporters are just getting involved in politics and most likely will not vote in local or mid term elections or are young and will grow out of this phase.

  5. Young people have always typically voted liberal and then vote republican when they got older. Just look at exit polls. Also there is a reason why republicans also control almost every other sector of the government at the federal, state and local level. Democrat votes don't vote beyond presidential elections.

The DNC has rules for primaries. Bernie and his supporters who were independents just can't change at the last minute expecting to take over a party.

  11. Rules are rules. Bernie was an independent for his entire life and then suddenly switches to a democrat. Why did he expect the democrats to just all of a sudden accept him as their candidate? He can still run in the general election where anyone can vote for him. If he wins there then people apparently wanted him.
