@TheUnseenRapper , they don't have millions or billions of dollars. Most of their worth is in their companies which are non liquidated assets. It is not actual cash. Most cash they have are in banks where banks only keep 10% of their reserves. Studying economics will behoove you some day.

They do hate the rich. Bernie went on a rant how he refused to take a donation from a billionaire and ripped on Pete and Joe for taking money from billionaires as if that is inherently bad.

DivineHeresy , the left saying "universal healthcare works in other nations" grossly oversimplifies a complex issue and that is a problem. For one, every nation does something different and has their own problems. Next, they are ignoring a very important factor, culture. The culture drives those programs. Every attempt to pass universal healthcare at the state level has failed for a reason, our culture won't accept it. And when our culture won't accept it then the program will fail. The far left constantly contradicts themselves and healthcare is one way. They preach about diversity and how everyone is different but then make the claim that one nation can do something thus the US can as well as if we are the same as them.

Uh, Kyle has it wrong. It isn't about working hard but working smarter. If you are working a min. wage job and don't try to move up that is on you. Despite that, the vast majority who work full time year round are not poor. Also, no one has billions of dollars. They may be worth that but wealth does not equal income.

@oolacilesbotnet6564 , most of their wealth is tied into shares of their company. Those shares, for the most part, are not consumable. They are not food, clothes, housing, cash, etc. They are simply shares. A lot of times they are valued as high as they are because they own them. For example, Bezos owns a ton of shares of his company, Amazon. That shows investors he is willing to stand by his company. If he were to just liquidated his shares and get rid of them that will send a red flag to investors and thus the value of the shares will drop and thus so will the wealth Bezos has. You feel that people with so much wealth have actual tangible goods when in fact they don't. It is simply through shares of their company. And them owning those shares gives them value.

The left does hate the rich. On stage at the debate they are saying if you receive money from millionaires you are evil. If you are a millionaire you are evil.
