  3. @Kirito Kun it has always been that way. The polls you point to are flawed. Money in politics is not a novel issue. Yes, people are against it but as long as they are doing well they typically don't care. They don't support M4A. As for a higher min. wage they will support a small increase, but not a large one. As for evidence, why are all these "progressive" politicians losing? Bernie is losing to a guy with dementia.

  4. There are two points here. One, the issue giving money away devalues money. Just arbitrarily giving money to people lowers the value of it. Now this case is slightly different, but still, you need to distribute the benefits in a wise way. Next, it will create the incentive not to work. Right now there are people who have to work in our current economy and are low wage. What will stop them from quitting?
