afroninja178, he is saying that. If a democrat would have voted for the new tax law Kyle would have threw a fit even though it lowered taxes for everyone. Democrats voted for Neil Gorsuch and Kyle threw a fit even though Gorsuch has a very strong track record and was more than qualified for the job. On medicare for all, Kyle is angered that all democrats do not support it. The reality is that establishing medicare for all is almost impossible as healthcare is 1/6 of our overall economy and it will drastically change our economy leading to a major recession. This is why healthcare reform was so challenging to begin with. It isn't that they are corrupt are anti-resistant to the republicans. It is that these issues are challenging and at times require input from both sides.

Also, education is nowhere near as complex as healthcare is. I do not see teachers going to school for 10+ years to work a stressful job that a doctor does. I do not see a set of computers costing half a million dollars like a lot of the equipment in healthcare does.

How many of those programs and how they function differ. You point to other countries but fail to realize they all do something different. There is no one ideal form of government. This is the exact same problem the founding fathers ran into which is why the created state rights. The more local government is the easier it is to control to ensure it remains the servants and not the masters. You can change it easier as well and if there are problems that problem is isolate. For example, the water situation in Flint. For as bad as it was it is isolated in Flint. Where you want a nationwide water system so the whole country is screwed. People can change the situation in Flint easier or just move and remain US citizen. The more local government is the easier it is to control and you can also see if you are getting your money's worth as a taxpayer. Just like local governments give money to schools, even private schools, for specific programs like special education for example. But again, the state gets the money, not individuals.
