  2. Just because the article is from a think tank does not necessarily mean it is wrong. However, this study look at only state and local taxes which is largely consumer based. What about federal taxes? On consumer taxes, the rich and the poor consume differently. The rich have the ability, and mainly intelligence to avoid high consumption taxes. For example, they can buy a car in an area of low consumption tax. Also, the rich usually have smaller families thus less money on food and clothes for kids compared to the poor. Also, they did not cite many credible, peer reviewed sources in their methods. They seem to cherry pick some data to fit a narrative. As a whole this "study" is flawed.

Also, the rich have the intelligence to avoid large consumption taxes. Also, they don't cite really any peer reviewed studies. This "study" seems like it was done by a bunch of high school students using google.

You can google search this yourself. http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2016/sep/01/donald-trump/donald-trump-says-illegal-immigration-costs-113-bi/ Now politifact is left leaning, but if you read that you will see that depending on where you look the numbers vary, but illegal immigrants do cost the US money. You believe Kyle so quickly due to your bias which is a problem. How about you look up some of this info on your own and think for yourself.
