Europe is not really a model to follow.  Their cost of living is higher by quite a bit.  Their university system is nothing compare to the US.  Their healthcare system has problems.  And they have a completely different society than the US.  It is easy to mock them because they are not as successful as they may seem.

  2. You really can't compare us to other countries.  You are comparing us to Norway, or Finland, or Iceland and so on that have a smaller population, a population less than most of our states.
