That is an issue. There are examples of strong leadership from both sides. In FL the governor is republican and the mayor of Tallahassee is democrat and they are working well together. However, most of the problems are coming from democrats. Not all. Gov. Polis is handling this well. But people like Gov. Cuomo, Gov. Newsom, Gov. Whitmer, etc. are using this as a power grab. What is also bad is that so much misinformation is coming out of the media when it comes to this virus. People need to be informed to know how to proceed. Instead you have Chris Cuomo cracking jokes with his brother. You have Youtube censoring doctors. You have misinformation being spread about hydroxychloroquine and so on. This virus brought out a lot of ugliness in our nation. I hope it makes positive changes such as people like Pelosi being voted out.

@elmerbeltshire7599 it being an election year is making this issue bad. If it were any other year our leaders will be handling this better. Instead they aren't for political gain. That is why you have Cuomo and Newsom destroying their states so they can try to make Trump look bad.

@ian12346 and in my state we have been open for two weeks and low cases. We can eat in dining areas and we are. Other states are open even more and are fine. Newsom is only letting certain counties open up where the LA mayor is staying shut down.
